

The GLOBAL YOUNG SCIENTISTS CHALLENGE 2018 (International Fair 2018) organised by Indian Innovators Association was held from 8th to 9th September 2018 at Silver Oaks International School, Andhra Pradesh to bring together talented school children from South East Asian Countries and India. In this prestigious international event 04 students from Chhattisgarh State participated along with their model,poster and project report.
The project “Sakhi: Eco-Friendly and Hygeinic Napkins” presented by Ms. Sangini Shirish Tiwari, Holy Cross School ,Byron Bazar, Raipur(C.G) and “Bio plastic and other useful products from banana peel”presented byMr. Anubhav Verma, Kaanger Valley Academy,Raipur (C.G.) winned Gold medals.
Whereas the project “Biodegradable Thermal Insulating House’ presented by Pranay Singhal, N.H. Goel World School, Raipur (C.G.) and “E- Waste Awareness & their Reuse” presented by Mr. Avanindra Bose, Holy Cross School, Kapa, Raipur ( C.G) winned Silver Medals.
Ms.Shalmali Tiwari , Mrs. Neelam Dwivedi, Mr. M.N. Singh and Mr. Nilesh Dewangan guided the students in preparing the projects.
State level Training workshop for District Coordinators/Resource Teachers under National Children Science Congress-2018 on the focal theme “Science, Technology and Innovation for a Clean, Green and Healthy Nation” is scheduled on 19th September 2018 at Seminar Hall of School of Studies in Biotechnology, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur.
