The Chhattisgarh Council of Science & Technology (CGCOST) was established in January 2001 under the aegis of Department of Science and Technology, Government of Chhattisgarh (C.G.). It is an autonomous body, which has been registered under the M.P. Societies Registration Act 1973.The General Body of the Council is chaired by the Chief Minister of the State.

The power of the science rests in elevating the downtrodden lot of the people they being at the last rung of the society. Our villages are like our unit cells. If the science and technology reaches the grassroot level, it shall always lean to strengthen the apex of the society. |
